NOVEMBER 09, 2022 — LOS ANGELES — Following the success of its stylish, home-decor friendly DDP-80 piano, Donner, leading manufacturer of innovative and feature-rich musical instruments, has debuted the new DDP-200 Digital Piano — another modern slimline digital piano with a premium wooden design ideal for entry-level musicians looking for an authentic acoustic piano experience.
The DDP-200 taps into the Donner R&D team’s expertise by developing sound chips that put an emphasis on piano sound sampling, perfectly reproducing the sound of an acoustic grand piano. An exclusive upgraded dual-sensor keyboard with 88 keys and metal pedal truly recreates the touch and feel of playing an acoustic piano.
ACOUSTIC TONE & FEEL IN A DIGITAL
Through powerful chip sampling, Donner's team of R&D experts have mastered the art of reproducing the sound of acoustic grand pianos, allowing players to enjoy the beautiful tone of an acoustic grand piano in their daily practice.
The DDP-200 employs a patented dual-sensor keyboard resulting in a performance comparable to that of a high-end stage piano, offering the feel of an acoustic piano.
“The patented Donner Grand Hammer action technology utilizes a more accurate dual-sensor key detection system for enhanced playing realism,” said Rui Lin, product manager of Donner’s Keys and Percussion Division. “Unlike common two sensor keyboard actions found in many of today’s digital pianos, the DGH technology developed by Donner makes quick key repetition more reliable. ”
The DDP-200’s newly upgraded speaker system boasts a unique hanging design of the speaker box, which produces a more three-dimensional sound, providing a superior listening experience. The hanging design of the speaker also reduces the footprint of the piano, so the DDP-200 features significant advances in both appearance and tone improvement.
A VISUAL TREASURE
The Donner DDP-200 features an appealing wood-grain body with rich dark oak colors. The incredibly light, luxury-style digital piano matches seamlessly with contemporary interior design and blends easily into any living space. Even an apartment can achieve a luxurious feel thanks to the DDP-200 without taking up any unnecessary living space.
The music rack on the clamshell features a stable and convenient structure that allows for the placement of objects such as music scores and tablets. The unique magnetic suction design effectively protects the performance and appearance of the keys by tightly absorbing the score rack when closing the lid.
A clear, 1.3-inch LCD screen displays current tone selections — which includes Grand Piano, Stage Piano, AMB Piano, Strings, Slow Strings, Organ, as well as five types of digital reverb effects. An easy-to-operate user interface allows pianists to perform flawlessly every time. Additionally, a USB-MIDI out and Bluetooth connectivity bring the DDP-200 into the 21st century, allowing home producers to seamlessly connect this massive MIDI controller with their DAWs on smart devices and computers.
